CSP made executable — parallel processes as the primitive, not the afterthought. Died with the Transputer it was built for; Go's channels carry its ghost.

Created by David May Inmos
Influenced Go

Inmos's occam (1983) — named for the razor — was Hoare's CSP as a programming language: processes communicating through synchronized channels, indentation as syntax, designed to program transputers.\n\nThe transputer died; occam's ideas survive in Go's channels and every CSP-descended design.
