A hand-built board sold through the Homebrew Computer Club — 200 made, $666.66 each, the seed of Apple Computer. About sixty survive.

Created by Steve Wozniak Apple Computer

Wozniak designed the Apple I to demo at Homebrew — a bare board, MOS 6502, 4K RAM expandable to 8K, composite video out (a first for the hobby market — most rivals still had front-panel LEDs).

Jobs sold ~200 at $666.66 through the Byte Shop. It's Apple's literal founding artifact; working units now sell at auction for hundreds of thousands.
