The object-pipeline shell — passes .NET objects instead of text; the shell Unix people least hate.

Influenced by KornShell
Created by Jeffrey Snover

Jeffrey Snover's PowerShell (2006) — Monad/MSH — made the pipeline object-typed: cmdlets pass .NET objects, not text, with a verb-noun grammar and Windows-wide reach.\n\nPowerShell Core went open-source and cross-platform; it is the systems language of Windows administration.
