Anders Hejlsberg's Delphi (1995) — Object Pascal with a visual form designer — was Turbo Pascal's GUI heir: native compilation, RAD, VCL, and database tooling that defined Windows development.\n\nIt still ships (Embarcadero, 12.x); a huge installed base in European industry keeps it alive.
