Common Lisp (1984) — the ANSI effort to unify the Lisp diaspora — merged MacLisp, ZetaLisp, Spice Lisp, and more into one standard: CLOS (the first ANSI-standard object system), the loop macro, format, and the condition system.\n\nSteele's CLtL is the definitive text; SBCL is the modern implementation. It remains the largest, most capable Lisp.
