Denmark's answer to unstructured BASIC — BASIC syntax married to Pascal's structures; a generation of Scandinavian schoolchildren learned to program in it.

Influenced by Dartmouth BASIC Pascal

Børge Christensen's COMAL (1975) was Denmark's 'Common Algorithmic Language' — BASIC syntax plus Pascal structures, designed to teach structured programming on the same computers that taught BASIC.\n\nIt was standard in Danish schools through the 80s — the European structured-BASIC experiment.
