Created PostScript
Warnock and Geschke left Xerox PARC in 1982 to productize InterPress, which became PostScript — a Turing-complete page-description language that made the Apple LaserWriter (1985) and desktop publishing possible.
Illustrator (1987), Photoshop (1989, acquired), PDF (1993), and the later Macromedia acquisition made Adobe the creative-software monopoly. Warnock ran it until 2000; the PDF is his most-cited artifact.
