II 119th CONGRESS 1st Session S. 2063 IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES June 12, 2025Mr. Whitehouse (for himself and Mr. Cassidy) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Environment and Public Works A BILL To amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to reauthorize the National Estuary Program, and for other purposes. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Enhancing Science, Treatment, and Upkeep of America’s Resilient and Important Estuarine Systems Act of 2025 or the ESTUARIES Act of 2025. 2. National Estuary Program Section 320(i)(1) of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. 1330(i)(1)), in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), is amended by striking 2026 and inserting 2031.
