II 119th CONGRESS 1st Session S. 1859 IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES May 22, 2025 Mr. Blumenthal introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Armed Services A BILL To amend title 10, United States Code, to make certain members of the Ready Reserve who served on active duty after September 11, 2001, eligible for early retirement. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Ready Reserve Act of 2025. 2. Modification of early retirement eligibility for certain members of Ready Reserve Section 12731(f)(2)(A) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking January 28, 2008 each place it appears and inserting September 11, 2001.
