Short title This Act may be cited as the NRCS Hire Local Act of 2023. 2. NRCS State field offices hiring preference In making hiring decisions for State field office positions of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (referred to in this section as the Service) that are at or above level GS–11 of the General Schedule, the Service shall give preference to applicants who are residents of the State.
