RES. 67 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES January 26, 2023Mr. Steil submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on House Administration RESOLUTION Providing amounts for the expenses of the Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party. 1. Amounts for expenses of Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (a) Amounts for expenses (1) Payment of expenses There shall be paid out of the applicable accounts of the House of Representatives not more than $350,000 for the expenses of the Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party established under section 104(f) of House Resolution 11, as agreed to January 10, 2023 (hereafter referred to as the Select Committee), to be available during the period beginning at noon on January 1, 2023, and ending on March 31, 2023. (2) Vouchers Payments under this subsection shall be made on vouchers authorized by the Select Committee, signed by the chair of the Select Committee, and approved in the manner directed by the Committee on House Administration. (b) Regulations Amounts made available under this resolution shall be expended in accordance with regulations prescribed by the Committee on House Administration.
