RES. 17 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES January 10, 2023Mr. Gaetz submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Rules RESOLUTION Amending the Rules of the House of Representatives to require the Speaker to allow the Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network (C–SPAN) to broadcast and record the floor proceedings of the House, and for other purposes. 1. Broadcasting the House Rule V of the Rules of the House of Representatives is amended— (1) by redesignating clause 3 as clause 4; and (2) by inserting after clause 2 the following new clause: 3. The Speaker must allow the Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network (C–SPAN) to broadcast and record the floor proceedings of the House with not less than 4 cameras owned and operated by C–SPAN. .
