R. 8391 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES May 14, 2024Mr. Moylan (for himself, Mrs. Peltola, and Mrs. González-Colón) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure A BILL To amend the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 with respect to cost sharing provisions for the territories and Indian Tribes, and for other purposes. 1. Cost sharing provisions for the territories and Indian Tribes Section 1156 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 (33 U.S.C. 2310) is amended— (1) in subsection (a), by striking up to $200,000; (2) in subsection (d), by striking the waiver amount described in subsection (a) and inserting any amount waived under subsection (a); and (3) by striking subsection (b) and redesignating subsections (c) and (d) as subsections (b) and (c), respectively.
