R. 4129 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES June 14, 2023Mr. Perry introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure A BILL To amend title 49, United States Code, to prohibit the Secretary of Transportation from making certain grants to zero-emission or electric ferries, and for other purposes. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the No Electric Ferries Act. 2. Passenger ferry grants Section 5307(h) of title 49, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following: (4) Prohibition The Secretary may not make a grant under this section to a recipient for a zero-emission or electric ferry. .
