R. 4054 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES June 13, 2023Ms. Budzinski (for herself and Mrs. Steel) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Education and the Workforce A BILL To amend the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act to reauthorize grants to improve trauma support services and mental health care for children and youth in educational settings. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Trauma Support and Mental Health in Schools Reauthorization Act of 2023. 2. Grants to improve trauma support services and mental health care for children and youth in educational settings Section 7134(l) of the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act (42 U.S.C. 280h–7(l)) is amended by striking fiscal years 2019 through 2023 and inserting fiscal years 2024 through 2028.
