R. 9553 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES December 14, 2022 Ms. Jayapal (for herself and Mr. McClintock) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Armed Services A BILL To streamline the budget process at the Department of Defense. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Streamline Pentagon Budgeting Act of 2022. 2. Repeal of reporting requirements related to unfunded properties Chapter 9 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) by repealing section 222a; (2) by repealing section 222b; and (3) in the table of sections at the beginning of the chapter, by striking the items relating to sections 222a and 222b.
