R. 8811 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES September 13, 2022Mr. Obernolte introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Veterans' Affairs A BILL To amend title 38, United States Code, to expand certain rehabilitation programs for certain veterans with service-connected disabilities. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Streamlining Aviation for Eligible Veterans Act. 2. Inclusion of non-degree flight training in certain rehabilitation programs for certain veterans with service-connected disabilities Section 3101 of title 38, United States Code, is amended in paragraph (6) by adding at the end the following: A rehabilitation program may include a program that includes flight training and does not lead to a degree.
