R. 8414 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES July 18, 2022Mr. Mast introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Ways and Means A BILL To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to repeal the diesel fuel tax. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Relief for our Truckers Act. 2. Repeal of tax on diesel fuel (a) In general Section 4041(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is hereby repealed. (b) Effective date The amendment made by this section shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act.
