Recognizing that for 50 years, the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) and its ten members—Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam—have worked toward stability, prosperity, and peace in Southeast Asia.
