II 115th CONGRESS 2d Session S. 3042 IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES June 11, 2018Mr. Roberts introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry A BILL To provide for the reform and continuation of agricultural and other programs of the Department of Agriculture through fiscal year 2023, and for other purposes. 1. Extension service Section 1464 of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 3312) is amended by striking 2018 and inserting 2023. 2. Extension at 1890 land-grant colleges, including Tuskegee University; report Section 1444 of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 3221) is amended— (1) in subsection (a), by striking paragraph (4); and (2) by adding at the end the following: (g) Report The Secretary shall annually submit to Congress a report describing the allocations made to, and matching funds received by, eligible institutions under this section. . 3. Report on agricultural research at 1890 land-grant colleges, including Tuskegee University Section 1445 of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 3222) is amended by adding at the end the following: (i) Report The Secretary shall annually submit to Congress a report describing the allocations made to, and matching funds received by, eligible institutions under this section. .
