R. 6811 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES September 13, 2018Mr. Grothman introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Education and the Workforce A BILL To amend the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 to extend protection to additional employees. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Age Discrimination in Employment Parity Act of 2018. 2. Amendment Section 11(b) of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (29 U.S.C. 630(b)) is amended by striking twenty the 1st place it appears and inserting 15. 3. Effective date This Act and the amendment made by this Act shall take effect 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.
