,whereas socialist ideology necessitates
 a concentration of power that has1 time
 and time again1 collapsed into         
communist regimes1 totalitarian rule1   
and brutal dictatorships2 ,whereas      
socialism has repeatedly led to famine  
and mass murders1 and the killing of    
over #ajj1jjj1jjj people worldwide2     
,whereas many of the greatest crimes in 
history were committed by socialist     
ideologues1 including ,vladimir ,lenin1 
,joseph ,stalin1 ,mao ,zedong1 ,fidel   
,castro1 ,pol ,pot1 ,kim ,jong ,il1 ,kim
 ,jong ,un1 ,daniel ,ortega1 ,hugo      
,chavez1 and ,nicols ,maduro2 ,whereas  
tens of millions died in the ,bolshevik 

,revolution1 at least #aj1jjj1jjj people
 were sent to the gulags in the ,union  
of ,soviet ,socialist ,republics1 and   
millions more starved in the            
,terror-,famine 7,holodomor7 in         
,ukraine2 ,whereas between #ae1jjj1jjj  
and #ee1jjj1jjj people starved to death 
in the wake of famine and devastation   
caused by the ,great ,leap ,forward in  
,china2 ,whereas the socialist          
experiment in ,cambodia led to the      
killing fields in which over a million  
people were gruesomely murdered2        
,whereas up to #c1ejj1jjj people have   
starved in ,north ,korea1 dividing a    
land of freedom from a land of          
destitution2 ,whereas the ,castro regime
 in ,cuba expropriated the land of      
,cuban farmers and the businesses of    
,cuban entrepreneurs1 stealing their    
possessions and their livelihoods1 and  
exiling millions with nothing but the   
clothes on their backs2 ,whereas the    
implementation of socialism in          
,venezuela has turned a once-prosperous 

country into a failed ,state with the   
highest rate of inflation in the world2 
,whereas ,president ,thomas ,jefferson1 
the author of the ,declaration of       
,independence1 wrote1 ,to take from one1
 because it is thought that his own     
industry and that of his fathers has    
acquired too much1 in order to spare to 
others1 who1 or whose fathers have not  
exercised equal industry and skill1 is  
to violate arbitrarily the first        
principle of association1 the guarantee 
to every one of a free exercise of his  
industry1 and the fruits acquired by it2
 ,whereas ,president ,james ,madison1   
the ,father of the ,constitution1 wrote 
that it is not a just government1 nor is
 property secure under it1 where the    
property which a man has in his personal
 safety and personal liberty1 is        
violated by arbitrary seizures of one   
class of citizens for the service of the
 rest2 and ,whereas the ,united ,states 
was founded on the belief in the        
sanctity of the individual1 to which the

 collectivistic system of socialism in  
all of its forms is fundamentally and   
necessarily opposed3 ,now1 therefore1 be
 it ,that ,congress denounces socialism 
in all its forms1 and opposes the       
implementation of socialist policies in 
the ,united ,states4
