any office within the ,department of    
,education that administers or enforces 
programs serving individuals with

,act may be cited as the ,protecting    
,students with ,disabilities ,act4  #b4 
,findings  ,congress finds the          
following3 7#a7 ,section #fjc of the    
,individuals with ,disabilities         
,education ,act 7#bj ,u4,s4,c4 #adjb7   
explicitly states that the ,office of   

,special ,education ,programs shall be  
housed within the ,department of        
,education and tasked with administering
 and carrying out programs and          
activities concerning the education of  
children with disabilities4  7#b7       
,section #c of the ,rehabilitation ,act 
of #aigc 7#bi ,u4,s4,c4 #gjb7 explicitly
 states that the ,rehabilitation        
,services ,administration shall be      
housed within the ,department of        
,education and tasked with administering
 and carrying out programs and          
activities concerning workforce         
investment activities of individuals    
with disabilities4  7#c7 ,the executive 
branch does not have the unilateral     
authority to alter this statutory       
framework4 ,this ,act reaffirms         
,congress's intent and ensures          
compliance with existing statutes4  #c4 
,prohibition  ,none of the funds made   
available by ,acts making appropriations
 may be used to--  7#a7 eliminate1      
consolidate1 or otherwise restructure   

any office within the ,department of    
,education that administers or enforces 
programs serving individuals with       
disabilities1 including such programs   
under the ,individuals with             
,disabilities ,education ,act 7#bj

,rehabilitation ,act of #aigc 7#bi      
,u4,s4,c4 #gja et seq471 or any other   
applicable ,federal laws2  7#b7         
terminate1 reassign1 or alter the       
responsibilities of any personnel of any
 such office1 such that statutory       
obligations under the ,individuals with 
,disabilities ,education ,act 7#bj      
,u4,s4,c4 #adjj et seq471 the           
,rehabilitation ,act of #aigc 7#bi      
,u4,s4,c4 #gja et seq471 or any other   
applicable ,federal laws are not met2 or
