may be cited as the ,stop ,,ice         
,election ,militarization ,act4  #b4    
,prohibitions on immigration officers in
 connection with elections  7a7         
,interference by immigration officers   
prohibited ,section #eic of title #ah1  
,united ,states ,code1 is amended--     
7#a7 in the first paragraph1 by         
inserting after an officer or member of 

the ,armed ,forces of the ,united       
,states the following3 or an immigration
 officer 7as such term is defined in    
section #aja of the ,immigration and    
,nationality ,act 7#h ,u4,s4,c4 #aaja772
  7#b7 by striking being such officer or
 member each place it appears and       
inserting being such officer or member  
of the ,armed ,forces of the ,united    
,states or such immigration officer2 and
  7#c7 in the seventh paragraph1 by     
inserting after any officer or member of
 the ,armed ,forces the following3 or   
any immigration officer4  7b7           
,restriction on immigration enforcement 
prior to elections ,during the #d-week  
period before an election for ,federal  
office1 no immigration enforcement or   
removal operation may be carried out    
unless--  7#a7 such operation is based  
on the particularized criminal probable 
cause related to a particular           
individual2 or  7#b7 such operation is  
necessary to prevent imminent death or  
serious bodily injury4
