7#a7 by redesignating subsections 7e7   
and 7f7 as subsections 7f7 and 7g71     
respectively2 and  7#b7 by inserting    

after subsection 7d7 the following new  
subsection3  7e7 ,digital health        
technologies  7#a7 ,working group ,as   
part of the ,initiative1 the ,secretary 
shall establish a working group to      
develop a strategy for treating         
traumatic brain injuries through digital
 health technologies4  7#b7 ,membership 
,the working group shall be composed of 
members of the ,armed ,forces1 civilian 
employees of the ,department of         
,defense1 and individuals not employed  
by the ,federal ,government1 who have   
expertise in traumatic brain injury     
clinical care1 biomedical informatics1  
engineering1 or implementation science4 
7#c7 ,elements ,the strategy developed  
under paragraph 7#a7 shall include the  
following3 7,a7 ,identification of      
capability gaps in the treatment of     
traumatic brain injuries that could be  
addressed through artificial            
intelligence and digital health         
technologies4  7,b7 ,an analysis of     
existing research1 development1 and     

acquisition efforts leveraging          
artificial intelligence-based           
capabilities and digital health         
technologies1 including any applicable  
commercial off-the-shelf solutions being
 used by the ,secretary to support the  
treatment of traumatic brain injuries4  
7,c7 ,recommendations with respect to   
advances required to--  7i7 address gaps
 identified under subparagraph 7,a72 and
  7ii7 significantly improve the        
treatment of traumatic brain injuries   
using artificial intelligence and       
digital health technologies4  7,d7 ,a   
recommended investment plan to advance  
technology and knowledge readiness      
levels to field digital health          
technologies to treat traumatic brain   
injuries4  7#d7 ,briefing ,not later    
than ,september #cj1 #bjbf1 the         
,secretary shall provide to the         
congressional defense committees a      
briefing on the strategy developed under
 paragraph 7#a74  4
