carry out a pilot program to furnish a  
headstone or burial marker to veterans

,short title ,this ,act may be cited as 
the ,honoring ,our ,heroes ,act of      
#bjbe4  #b4 ,temporary authority to     

furnish headstones and burial markers to
 certain veterans  7a7 ,authority       
,during the period of seven years       
following the date of the enactment of  
this ,act1 the ,secretary of ,veterans  
,affairs shall furnish1 pursuant to     
section #bcjf of title #ch1 ,united     
,states ,code1 and without regards to   
section #hjda7;b7 of the ,omnibus       
,budget ,reconciliation ,act of #aiij   
7,public ,law #aja-ejh71 an appropriate 
headstone1 burial marker1 or medallion  
for a veteran-- 7#a7 eligible for burial
 in a national cemetery2  7#b7 who died 
on or after ,december #g1 #aida2 and    
7#c7 for whose grave the ,secretary has 
not already provided a headstone1 burial
 marker1 or medallion4  7b7 ,website    
,during such period1 the ,secretary     
shall ensure that the website of the    
,national ,cemetery ,administration     
indicates the effect of this ,act on    
eligibility for a headstone1 burial     
marker1 or medallion under such section4
  #c4 ,extension of certain limits on   

payments of pension ,section

,states ,code1 is amended by striking
