for a period to be subsequently         
determined by the ,speaker1 in each case
 for consideration of such provisions as
 fall within the jurisdiction of the    
committee concerned  ,a ,,bill  ,to     
direct the ,administrator of the        
,centers for ,medicare  ,medicaid       
,services to clarify that fully         
implanted active middle ear hearing     
devices are prosthetics and are not     
subject to the hearing aid coverage     
exclusion under the ,medicare program4  
#a4 ,short title ,this ,act may be cited
 as the ,hearing ,device ,coverage      
,clarification ,act4  #b4 ,active middle
 ear implant coverage  7a7 ,in general  
,not later than #fj days after the date 

of the enactment of this ,act1 the      
,administrator of the ,centers for      
,medicare  ,medicaid ,services shall    
clarify that fully implanted active     
middle ear hearing devices are          
prosthetics that are not subject to the 
hearing aid coverage exclusion under    
section #ahfb7;a77#g7 of the ,social    
,security ,act 7#db ,u4,s4,c4
