,taxpayer-,funded ,pensions for ,sex    
,criminals ,act4  #b4 ,forfeiture of    
annuities and retired pay for conviction
 of sex crimes  7a7 ,in general ,section
 #hcab of title #e1 ,united ,states     
,code1 is amended-- 7#a7 in subsection  
7a7-- 7,a7 by striking ,the and         
inserting the following3  7#b7 ,the  2  
7,b7 in paragraph 7#b71 as so           

designated-- 7i7 in subparagraph 7,a71  
by striking and at the end2  7ii7 in    
subparagraph 7,b71 by striking the      
period at the end and inserting 2 and2  
and  7iii7 by adding at the end the     
following3  7,c7 with respect to the    
offenses named by subsection 7d7 of this
 section1 to the period after the date  
of conviction or after the date of      
enactment of the ,no ,taxpayer-,funded  
,pensions for ,sex ,criminals ,act1     
whichever is later4  2 and  7,c7 in the 
matter preceding paragraph 7#b71 as so  
designated-- 7i7 by redesignating       
paragraphs 7#a7 and 7#b7 as             
subparagraphs 7,a7 and 7,b72  7ii7 in   
subparagraph 7,a71 as so redesignated1  
by striking or at the end2  7iii7 in    
subparagraph 7,b71 as so redesignated1  
by striking the period at the end and   
inserting 2 or2  7iv7 by adding after   
subparagraph 7,b7 the following3  7,c7  
was convicted on or after the date of   
enactment of the ,no ,taxpayer-,funded  
,pensions for ,sex ,criminals ,act of an

 offense named by subsection 7d7 of this
 section1 to the extent provided by that
 subsection4  2 and  7v7 by striking 7a7
 ,an and inserting the following3  7a7  
7#a7 ,an  2 and  7#b7 by redesignating  
7d7 as subsection 7e72  7#c7 by         
inserting after subsection 7c7 the      
following3  7d7 7#a7 ,in this           
subsection1 the term ,state means-- 7,a7
 each of the several ,states of the     
,united ,states2  7,b7 the ,district of 
,columbia2  7,c7 the ,commonwealth of

,the following are offenses to which    
subsection 7a7 of this section applies  
if the individual was convicted on or   
after the date of enactment of the ,no  
,taxpayer-,funded ,pensions for ,sex    

,criminals ,act3 7,a7 ,sections #bbda1  
#bbdb1 #bbdc1 #bbea1 #bbea;,a1 #bbeb1   
#bbeb;,a1 #bbeb;,b1 #bbeb;,c1 #bdba1    
#bdba;,a1 #bdbb1 #bdbc1 #bdbd1 and #bdbe
 of title #ah4  7,b7 ,an offense under  
,state law consisting of conduct that   
would be an offense under a chapter     
referred to in subparagraph 7,a7 if the 
conduct had occurred within the special 
maritime and territorial jurisdiction of
 the ,united ,states4  2 and  7#d7 in   
subsection 7e71 as so redesignated1 by  
striking subsections 7b77#a7 and 7c77#a7
 each place the term appears and        
inserting subsections 7b77#a71 7c77#a71 
and 7d74  7b7 ,technical and conforming 
amendments  7#a7 ,title #e1 ,united     
,states ,code1 is amended-- 7,a7 in     
section #eefi7;d77#c77;,b71 by striking 
subsection 7b7 or 7c7 and inserting     
subsection 7b71 7c71 or 7d72  7,b7 in   
section #hcaa1 by striking subsection   
7c7 each place the term appears and     
inserting subsection 7c7 or 7d72  7,c7  
in section #hcac7;a77#a7-- 7i7 in       

subparagraph 7,a71 by striking or at the
 end2  7ii7 in subparagraph 7,b71 by    
striking and at the end and inserting   
or2 and  7iii7 by adding at the end the 
following3  7,c7 after the date of      
enactment of the ,no ,taxpayer-,funded  
,pensions for ,sex ,criminals ,act1 for 
an offense named by section #hcab7;d7 of
 this title2 and  2  7,d7 in section    
#hcae7;a7-- 7i7 in paragraph 7#a77;,c71 
by striking or at the end2  7ii7 in     
paragraph 7#b71 by striking the         
semicolon and inserting 2 or2 and  7iii7
 by adding at the end the following3    
7#c7 before1 on1 or after the date of   
enactment of the ,no ,taxpayer-,funded  
,pensions for ,sex ,criminals ,act1     
concerning his conviction of an offense 
named by subsection 7d7 of section #hcab
 of this title1 to the extent provided  
by that subsection2  2 and  7,e7 in     
section #hcaf7;b7-- 7i7 in paragraph    
7#a71 by striking or at the end2  7ii7  
in paragraph 7#b71 by striking the      
period at the end and inserting 2 or2   

and  7iii7 by adding at the end the     
following3  7#c7 if the individual was  
convicted of an offense named by section
 #hcab7;d7 of this title1 or violated   
section #hcae7;a77#c7 of this title1 for
 the period after the conviction or     
commission of the violation1 or after   
the date of enactment of ,no            
,taxpayer-,funded ,pensions for ,sex    
,criminals ,act1 whichever is later4  4 
7#b7 ,section #eei7;c77#c77;,a77ii77,i7 
of title #cg1 ,united ,states ,code1 is 
amended by striking subsection 7b7 or   
7c7 and inserting subsection 7b71 7c71  
or 7d74  #c4 ,applicability ,the        
amendments made by this ,act shall apply
 to offenses described effective for    
crimes occurring on or after the date of
 enactment of this ,act4
