,authorization ,act for ,fiscal ,year

,stat4 #ahda7 is amended--  7#a7 by     
striking ,at the time and inserting the 
following3  7,a7 ,in general ,at the    
time  2 and  7#b7 by adding at the end  
the following new subparagraph3  7,b7   
,department of ,housing and ,urban      

,development contracts  7i7 ,in general 
,at the time of any covered modification
 to a contract that the ,secretary of   
,housing and ,urban ,development has    
awarded before the date that is #ahj    
days after the date of the enactment of 
this ,act1 the ,secretary of ,housing   
and ,urban ,development shall make best 
efforts to include in the contract a    
contract clause providing for the       
applicability of the amendments made by 
this section to the contract4  7ii7     
,covered modification defined ,in this  
subparagraph1 the term covered          
modification means any modification1    
including a modification relating to--  
7,i7 a contract option year2  7,,ii7 a  
contract extension2  7,,iii7 a contract 
renewal2  7,,iv7 a review for approval  
of or execution of an annual            
contributions contract2  7,v7 a         
substantial deviation2  7,,vi7 a        
significant amendment2 or  7,,vii7 an   
annual cost or rent adjustment4  4
