  ,to amend the ,higher ,education ,act 
of #aife to remove the record of default
 on a loan made1 insured1 or guaranteed 
under title ,,iv from a borrower's      
credit history upon repayment of the    
full amount due on such loan4  #a4      
,short title ,this ,act may be cited as 
the ,clean ,slate through ,repayment    
,act of #bjbc4  #b4 ,removal of record  
of default ,part ,g of title ,,iv of the
 ,higher ,education ,act of #aife 7#bj  
,u4,s4,c4 #ajhh et seq47 is amended by  
adding at the end the following3  #die4 
,removal of record of default ,upon     
repaying in full the amount due on a    
defaulted loan made1 insured1 or        
guaranteed under this title1 the        

,secretary1 guaranty agency1 or other   
holder of the loan shall request any    
consumer reporting agency to which the  
,secretary1 guaranty agency1 or holder1 
as applicable1 reported the default of  
the loan1 to remove any adverse item of 
information relating to such loan from  
the borrower's credit history4  4
