certain institutions of higher

,code1 to enrollment agreements made

,in ,general ,chapter #a of title #i of 
the ,united ,states ,code 7relating to  
the enforcement of arbitration          
agreements7 shall not apply to an       
enrollment agreement made between a     
student and an institution of higher    
education4  7b7 ,definition ,in this    
section1 the term institution of higher 
education has the meaning given such    
term in section #ajb of the ,higher     
,education ,act of #aife 7#bj ,u4,s4,c4 
#ajjb74  #c4 ,prohibition on limitations
 on ability of students to pursue claims
 against certain institutions of higher 
education ,section #dhg7;a7 of the      
,higher ,education ,act of #aife 7#bj

adding at the end the following3  7#cj7 
,the institution will not require any   
student to agree to1 and will not       
enforce1 any limitation or restriction  
7including a limitation or restriction  

on any available choice of applicable   
law1 a jury trial1 or venue7 on the     
ability of a student to pursue a claim1 
individually or with others1 against an 
institution in court4  4  #d4 ,effective
 date ,this ,act and the amendments made
 by this ,act shall take effect #a year 
after the date of enactment of this
