payment to physician assistants under   
the ,medicare program for certain       
services furnished by such physician    
assistants4  #a4 ,direct ,medicare      
payment for services furnished by       
physician assistants  7a7 ,in general   
,section #ahcb7;a77#b77;,b7 of the      
,social ,security ,act 7#db ,u4,s4,c4   
#aciek7a77#b77;,b77 is amended by adding
 at the end the following new clause3   
7v7 services of a physician assistant   
but only if no facility or other        
provider charges or is paid any amounts 
with respect to the furnishing of such  
services2  4  7b7 ,effective date ,the  
amendment made by subsection 7a7 shall  

apply with respect to services furnished
