,behavioral health crisis response

7a7 ,definition ,in this section-- 7#a7 
the term ,director means the ,director  
of the ,office of ,community ,oriented  
,policing ,services2  7#b7 the term     
eligible entity means a ,state1 local1  
,tribal1 or territorial law enforcement 
agency2 and  7#c7 the term training     
provider means a person with which1     
using funds from a grant awarded under  
this section1 an eligible entity        
contracts for behavioral health crisis  
response training for law enforcement   
officers4  7b7 ,grants  7#a7 ,authority 
to make grants ,the ,director may make  
grants on a competitive basis to        
eligible entities to assist those       
eligible entities in acquiring          
behavioral health crisis response       
training for law enforcement officers4  
7#b7 ,applications ,an eligible entity  
desiring a grant under this section     
shall submit to the ,director an        
application at such time1 in such       
manner1 and containing or accompanied by

 such information1 as the ,director may 
reasonably require4  7#c7 ,qualification
 standards ,the ,director shall         
establish and publish qualification     
standards for training providers4  4    
7b7 ,authorization of appropriations    
,section #ajja7;a7 of title ,i of the   
,omnibus ,crime ,control and ,safe      
,streets ,act of #aifh 7#cd ,u4,s4,c4

end the following3  7#bi7 ,there are    
authorized to be appropriated to carry
