,states ,semiquincentennial ,commission

#acj ,stat4 #fhe7 is amended--  7#a7 in 
subsection 7b77#d71 by striking         
subparagraph 7,i7 and inserting the     
following3  7,i7 ,the ,chairperson of   

the ,national ,endowment for the ,arts4 
7,j7 ,the ,chairperson of the ,national 
,endowment for the ,humanities4  7,k7   
,the ,director of the ,institute of     
,museum and ,library ,services4  7,l7   
7i7 ,the ,chief ,justice of the ,united 
,states2 or  7ii7 an ,associate ,justice
 or former ,associate ,justice appointed
 by the ,chief ,justice of the ,united  
,states4  2  7#b7 in subsection 7c71 by 
adding at the end the following3  7#c7  
,removal of members who are private     
citizens ,following notice and approval 
of the relevant appointing authority1 on
 an affirmative vote of not less than   
#b_/c of the members of the ,commission1
 the ,commission may remove a member of 
the ,commission appointed under         
subsection 7b77#c74  2 and  7#c7 in     
subsection 7d7-- 7,a7 by striking ,all  
meetings and inserting the following3   
7#a7 ,location of first meeting ,the    
first meeting  2 and  7,b7 by adding at 
the end the following3  7#b7 ,location  
of subsequent meetings ,at least #a     

meeting of the ,commission each year    
shall be held in ,philadelphia1         
,pennsylvania4  4  7b7 ,duties ,section 
#e7;c77#a7 of the ,united ,states       
,semiquincentennial ,commission ,act of

,stat4 #fhg7 is amended by striking #b  
years after the date of enactment of    
this ,act and inserting ,march #ca1     
#bjbj4  7c7 ,coordination ,section      
#f7;b7 of the ,united ,states           
,semiquincentennial ,commission ,act of 
#bjaf 7,public ,law #aad-aif2 #acj      
,stat4 #fhi7 is amended-- 7#a7 in       
paragraph 7#c77;,a71 by striking        
presiding officer of the ,federal       
,council on the ,arts and the           
,humanities1 the ,chairperson of the    
,national ,endowment for the ,arts1 and 
the ,chairperson of the ,national       
,endowment for the ,humanities and      
inserting ,chairperson of the ,national 
,endowment for the ,arts1 the           
,chairperson of the ,national ,endowment
 for the ,humanities1 and the ,director 

of the ,institute of ,museum and        
,library ,services2 and  7#b7 in        
paragraph 7#d71 in the matter preceding 
subparagraph 7,a71 by inserting and     
other after founding4  7d7 ,expenditures
 of commission ,section #i of the       
,united ,states ,semiquincentennial     
,commission ,act of #bjaf 7,public ,law 
#aad-aif2 #acj ,stat4 #fia7 is amended--
  7#a7 by striking subsection 7a7 and   
inserting the following3  7a7 ,in       
general ,all expenditures of the        
,commission shall be made from          
donations1 earned income1 and any funds 
made available to carry out this ,act   
under subsection 7f74  2  7#b7 in       
subsection 7d71 by striking ,once each  
year during the period beginning on the 
date of enactment of this ,act and      
inserting ,annually during the period   
beginning #a year after the ,commission 
submits the report to the ,president    
under section #e7;c77#a72 and  7#c7 by  
adding at the end the following3  7e7   
,intellectual property protections ,the 

,commission shall have the exclusive    
right to use1 and to allow others to    
use1 the official marks1 imprimaturs1   
and logos of the ,commission4  7f7      
,authorization of appropriations ,there 
are authorized to be appropriated such  
sums as are necessary to carry out this 
,act4  4  ,clerk4
