,,bill  ,to provide for matching funds  
waivers for formula grants and subgrants
 under the ,family ,violence ,prevention
 and ,services ,act4  #a4 ,short title  
,this ,act may be cited as the ,protect 
,our ,women and ,waive ,emergency       
,requirements ,act or the ,,power ,act4 
#b4 ,matching funds waiver for formula  
grants and subgrants under the ,family  
,violence ,prevention and ,services ,act
  7a7 ,waiver of matching funds for     
awarded grants and subgrants ,at the    
request of a ,state 7as defined in      
section #cjb of the ,family ,violence   
,prevention and ,services ,act 7#db     
,u4,s4,c4 #ajdjb771 the ,secretary of   
,health and ,human ,services shall      

waive-- 7#a7 the non-,federal           
contributions requirement under         
subsection 7c77#d7 of section #cjf of   
the ,family ,violence ,prevention and   
,services ,act 7#db ,u4,s4,c4 #ajdjf7   
with respect to the grants and subgrants
 awarded for fiscal years #bjai and     
#bjbj to such ,state and the eligible   
entities within such ,state under such  
section or section #cjh of such ,act    
7#db ,u4,s4,c4 #ajdjh72 and  7#b7 the   
reporting requirements required for such
 subgrants and grants that relate to    
such non-,federal contributions         
requirement4  7b7 ,waiver of matching   
funds for grants awarded after date of  
enactment  7#a7 ,in general ,subsection 
7c77#d7 of section #cjf of the ,family  
,violence ,prevention and ,services ,act
 7#db ,u4,s4,c4 #ajdjf7 shall not apply 
to a qualified grant during the period  
of a public health emergency declared   
pursuant to section #cai of the ,public 
,health ,service ,act 7#db ,u4,s4,c4    
#bdg;d7 resulting from the ,,covid-#ai  

pandemic4  7#b7 ,qualified grant defined
 ,in this subsection1 the term qualified
 grant means a grant or subgrant        
awarded-- 7,a7 after the date of        
enactment of this section2 and  7,b7    
under section #cjf1 #cjh1 or #cji of the
 ,family ,violence ,prevention and      
,services ,act 7#db ,u4,s4,c4 #ajdjf1
