following bill2 which was read twice and
 referred to the ,committee on ,health1 
,education1 ,labor1 and ,pensions  ,a   
,,bill  ,to amend the ,federal ,food1   
,drug1 and ,cosmetic ,act to require the
 label of a drug that is intended for   
human use and contains an ingredient    
that is derived directly or indirectly  
from a gluten-containing grain to       
identify each such ingredient1 and for  
other purposes4  #a4 ,short title ,this 
,act may be cited as the ,gluten in     
,medicine ,disclosure ,act of #bjai4    
#b4 ,labeling of drugs with an          
ingredient made from a gluten-containing
 grain  7a7 ,misbranding ,section #ejb  
of the ,federal ,food1 ,drug1 and       
,cosmetic ,act 7#ba ,u4,s4,c4 #ceb7 is  
amended by adding at the end the        
following3  7ee7 ,if it is a drug-- 7#a7
 that is intended for human use2  7#b7  

that contains an ingredient that is     
derived directly or indirectly from a   
gluten-containing grain 7including      
wheat1 barley1 rye1 and crossbred       
hybrids of such grains72 and  7#c7 whose
 label fails-- 7,a7 to state that the   
drug contains such an ingredient2 and   
7,b7 to identify each such ingredient   
and the type of gluten-containing grain 
from which it is derived4  4  7b7       
,applicability ,section #ejb7;ee7 of the
 ,federal ,food1 ,drug1 and ,cosmetic   
,act1 as added by subsection 7a7 of this
 section1 shall apply beginning on the  
earlier of--  7#a7 a date to be         
determined by the ,secretary of ,health 
and ,human ,services2 and  7#b7 the date
 that is #b years after the date of the 
enactment of this ,act4
