fountain replacement for playgrounds and
 parks  7a7 ,playgrounds and parks owned
 by schools ,section #adfe7;b7 of the   
,safe ,drinking ,water ,act 7#db        
,u4,s4,c4 #cjj;j-#be7;b77 is amended--  
7#a7 in paragraph 7#a71 by inserting 1  
including in playgrounds and parks owned
 or administered by schools after       
schools2 and  7#b7 in paragraph 7#b71 by
 inserting including in playgrounds and 
parks owned or administered by such     
schools1 after such funds14  7b7 ,public

 playgrounds or parks  7#a7 ,grant      
program ,part ,f of the ,safe ,drinking 
,water ,act 7#db ,u4,s4,c4 #cjj;j-#ba et
 seq47 is amended by adding at the end  
the following3  #adff4 ,drinking water  
fountain replacement in public          
playgrounds and parks  7a7              
,establishment ,not later than #a year  
after the date of enactment of this     
section1 the ,administrator shall       
establish a grant program to provide    
assistance to ,states and municipalities
 for the replacement1 in playgrounds or 
parks owned by ,states or               
municipalities1 of drinking water       
fountains manufactured prior to #aihh4  
7b7 ,use of ,funds ,funds awarded under 
the grant program-- 7#a7 shall be used  
to pay the costs of replacement of      
drinking water fountains in playgrounds 
or parks owned by a ,state or           
municipality receiving such funds2 and  
7#b7 may be used to pay the costs of    
monitoring and reporting of lead levels 
in the drinking water of playgrounds or 

parks owned by a ,state or municipality 
receiving such funds1 as determined     
appropriate by the ,administrator4  7c7 
,priority ,in awarding funds under the  
grant program1 the ,administrator shall 
give priority to projects and activities
 that benefit an underserved community  
or a disadvantaged community4  7d7      
,authorization of appropriations ,there 
is authorized to be appropriated to     
carry out this section #e1jjj1jjj for   
each of fiscal years #bjbj through      
#bjbe4  4  7#b7 ,definitions ,section   
#adfa of the ,safe ,drinking ,water ,act
 7#db ,u4,s4,c4 #cjj;j-#ba7 is amended  
by adding at the end the following3     
7#h7 ,disadvantaged community ,the term 
disadvantaged community has the meaning 
given such term in section              
#adeb7;d77#c74  7#i7 ,playground or park
 ,the term playground or park means an  
indoor or outdoor park1 building1 site1 
or other facility1 including any parking
 lot appurtenant thereto1 that is       
intended for recreation purposes4  7#aj7
