the ,committee on ,natural ,resources   
,a ,,bill  ,to direct the ,secretary of 
the ,interior to sell certain ,federal  
lands in ,arizona1 ,colorado1 ,idaho1   
,montana1 ,nebraska1 ,nevada1 ,new      
,mexico1 ,oregon1 ,utah1 and ,wyoming1  
previously identified as suitable for   
disposal1 and for other purposes4  #a4  
,sale of certain ,federal lands         
previously identified as suitable for   
disposal  7a7 ,short title ,this ,act   
may be cited as the ,disposal of ,excess
 ,federal ,lands ,act of #bjag4  7b7    
,competitive sale of lands ,the         
,secretary shall offer the identified   
,federal lands for disposal by          
competitive sale for not less than fair 
market value as determined by an        
independent appraiser4  7c7 ,existing   
rights ,the sale of identified ,federal 

lands under this section shall be       
subject to valid existing rights4  7d7  
,proceeds of sale of lands ,all net     
proceeds from the sale of identified    
,federal lands under this section shall 
be deposited directly into the ,treasury
 for reduction of the public debt4  7e7 
,report ,not later than #d years after  
the date of the enactment of this ,act1 
the ,secretary shall submit to the      
,committee on ,natural ,resources of the
 ,house of ,representatives and the     
,committee on ,energy and ,natural      
,resources of the ,senate--  7#a7 a list
 of any identified ,federal lands that  
have not been sold under subsection 7b7 
and the reasons such lands were not     
sold2 and  7#b7 an update of the report 
submitted to ,congress by the ,secretary
 on ,may #bg1 #aiig1 pursuant to section
 #cij7;g7 of the ,federal ,agriculture  
,improvement and ,reform ,act of #aiif  
7,public ,law #ajd-abg2 #aaj ,stat4     
#ajbd71 including a current inventory of
 the ,federal lands under the           

administrative jurisdiction of the      
,secretary that are suitable for        
disposal4  7f7 ,definitions ,in this    
section3 7#a7 ,identified ,federal lands
 ,the term identified ,federal lands    
means the parcels of ,federal land under
 the administrative jurisdiction of the 
,secretary that were identified as      
suitable for disposal in the report     
submitted to ,congress by the ,secretary
 on ,may #bg1 #aiig1 pursuant to section
 #cij7;g7 of the ,federal ,agriculture  
,improvement and ,reform ,act of #aiif  
7,public ,law #ajd-abg2 #aaj ,stat4     
#ajbd71 except the following3  7,a7     
,lands not identified for disposal in   
the applicable land use plan4  7,b7     
,lands subject to a ,recreation and     
,public ,purpose conveyance application4

selection4  7,d7 ,lands identified for  
,indian tribe allotments4  7,e7 ,lands  
identified for local government use4
