,general authority  ,in carrying out its
 powers1 duties1 and functions under the
 ,standing ,rules of the ,senate1 in    
accordance with its jurisdiction under  
rule ,,xxv of the ,standing ,rules of   
the ,senate1 including holding hearings1
 reporting such hearings1 and making    
investigations as authorized by         
paragraphs #a and #h of rule ,,xxvi of  
the ,standing ,rules of the ,senate1 the
 ,committee on ,small ,business and     
,entrepreneurship 7in this resolution   

referred to as the committee7 is        
authorized from ,march #a1 #bjac through
 ,september #cj1 #bjac1 in its          
discretion--  7#a7 to make expenditures 
from the contingent fund of the ,senate2
  7#b7 to employ personnel2 and  7#c7   
with the prior consent of the           
,government department or agency        
concerned and the ,committee on ,rules  
and ,administration1 to use on a        
reimbursable or nonreimbursable basis   
the services of personnel of any such   
department or agency4  #b4 ,expenses for
 period ending ,september #cj1 #bjac    
,the expenses of the committee for the  
period ,march #a1 #bjac1 through        
,september #cj1 #bjac1 under this       
resolution shall not exceed #a1ebd1iag1 
of which amount--  7#a7 not to exceed   
#be1jjj may be expended for the         
procurement of the services of          
individual consultants1 or organizations
 thereof 7as authorized by section      
#bjb7;i7 of the ,legislative            
,reorganization ,act of #aidf 7#b       

,u4,s4,c4 #gb;a7i7772 and  7#b7 not to  
exceed #aj1jjj may be expended for the  
training of the professional staff of   
the committee 7under procedures         
specified by section #bjb7;j7 of the    
,legislative ,reorganization ,act of    
#aidf74  #c4 ,expenses and agency       
contributions  7a7 ,expenses of the     
committee  7#a7 ,in general ,except as  
provided in paragraph 7#b71 expenses of 
the committee under this resolution     
shall be paid from the contingent fund  
of the ,senate upon vouchers approved by
 the chairman of the committee4  7#b7   
,vouchers not required ,vouchers shall  
not be required--  7,a7 for the         
disbursement of salaries of employees   
paid at an annual rate2  7,b7 for the   
payment of telecommunications provided  
by the ,office of the ,sergeant at ,arms
 and ,doorkeeper2  7,c7 for the payment 
of stationery supplies purchased through
 the ,keeper of the ,stationery2  7,d7  
for payments to the ,postmaster of the  
,senate2  7,e7 for the payment of       

metered charges on copying equipment    
provided by the ,office of the ,sergeant
 at ,arms and ,doorkeeper2  7,f7 for the
 payment of ,senate ,recording and      
,photographic ,services2 or  7,g7 for   
payment of franked mail costs by the    
,sergeant at ,arms and ,doorkeeper1     
,united ,states ,senate4  7b7 ,agency   
contributions ,there are authorized such
 sums as may be necessary for agency    
contributions related to the            
compensation of employees of the        
committee from ,march #a1 #bjac through 
,september #cj1 #bjac1 to be paid from  
the appropriations account for ,expenses
 of ,inquiries and ,investigations of   
the ,senate4
