religious symbols1 and for other

may be cited as the ,war ,memorial      
,protection ,act of #bjac4  #b4         
,inclusion of religious symbols as part 
of military memorials  7a7 ,authority   
,chapter #ba of title #cf1 ,united      
,states ,code1 is amended by adding at  
the end the following3  #baae4          
,inclusion of religious symbols as part 
of military memorials  7a7 ,inclusion of
 religious symbols authorized ,to       
recognize the religious background of   

members of the ,united ,states ,armed   
,forces1 religious symbols may be       
included as part of--  7#a7 a military  
memorial that is established or acquired
 by the ,united ,states ,government2 or 
7#b7 a military memorial that is not    
established by the ,united ,states      
,government1 but for which the ,american
 ,battle ,monuments ,commission         
cooperated in the establishment of the  
memorial4  7b7 ,military memorial       
defined ,in this section1 the term      
military memorial means a memorial or   
monument commemorating the service of   
the ,united ,states ,armed ,forces4 ,the
 term includes works of architecture and
 art described in section #baje7;b7 of  
this title4  4  7b7 ,clerical amendment 
,the table of sections at the beginning 
of such chapter is amended by adding at 
the end the following3  #baae4
