may be cited as the ,industrial ,hemp   
,farming ,act of #bjac4  #b4 ,exclusion 
of industrial hemp from definition of   
marihuana ,section #ajb of the          
,controlled ,substances ,act 7#ba       
,u4,s4,c4 #hjb7 is amended--  7#a7 in   
paragraph 7#af7--  7,a7 by striking     
7#af7 ,the and inserting 7#af77;,a7     
,the2 and  7,b7 by adding at the end the
 following3  7,b7 ,the term marihuana   
does not include industrial hemp4  2 and
  7#b7 by adding at the end the         
following3  7#eg7 ,the term industrial  

hemp means the plant ,cannabis sativa   
,l4 and any part of such plant1 whether 
growing or not1 with a delta-#i         
tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of   
not more than #j4c percent on a dry     
weight basis4  4  #c4 ,industrial hemp  
determination by ,states ,section #bja  
of the ,controlled ,substances ,act 7#ba
 ,u4,s4,c4 #haa7 is amended by adding at
 the end the following3  7i7 ,industrial
 hemp determination ,if a person grows  
or processes ,cannabis sativa ,l4 for   
purposes of making industrial hemp in   
accordance with ,state law1 the         
,cannabis sativa ,l4 shall be deemed to 
meet the concentration limitation under 
section #ajb7eg71 unless the ,attorney  
,general determines that the ,state law 
is not reasonably calculated to comply  
with section #ajb7eg74  4
