amended by striking section #dihj;,i4   
7b7 ,clerical ,amendment ,the table of  
sections for chapter #dc of such ,code  
is amended by striking the item relating
 to section #dihj;,i4  #b4 ,repeal of   
health insurance premium review process 
,section #bgid of the ,public ,health   
,service ,act 7as added by section #ajjc

 of the ,patient ,protection and        
,affordable ,care ,act 7#db ,u4,s4,c4   
#cjj;gg-#id77 is amended-- 7#a7 by      
striking the section heading and all    
that follows through subsection 7c71 and
 inserting the following3  #bgid4       
,medical reimbursement data centers  7a7
 ,in general ,the ,secretary shall carry
 out a program to award grants to       
,states during the #e-year period       
beginning with fiscal year #bjaj to     
assist such ,states in establishing     
centers 7consistent with subsection 7b77
 at academic or other nonprofit         
institutions to collect medical         
reimbursement information from health   
insurance issuers1 to analyze and       
organize such information1 and to make  
such information available to such      
issuers1 health care providers1 health  
researchers1 health care policy makers1 
and the general public4  2 and  7#b7 in 
subsection 7d7-- 7,a7 by redesignating  
such subsection as subsection 7b72 and  
7,b7 by striking subsection 7c77#a77;,c7

 each place that such term appears and  
inserting subsection 7a74  #c4 ,repeal  
of the authority of the ,secretary of   
,health and ,human ,services to deny    
plan bids under ,medicare parts ,c and  
,d  7a7 ,part ,c ,section               
#ahed7;a77#e77;,c7 of the ,social       
,security ,act 7#db ,u4,s4,c4           
#aciew-#bd7;a77#e77;,c77 is repealed4   
7b7 ,part ,d ,section                   
#ahfj;,d-#aa7;d77#c7 of the ,social     
,security ,act 7#db ,u4,s4,c4

,effective date ,the amendments made by 
this section shall apply to bids        
submitted for contract years beginning  
on or after ,january #a1 #bjae4  #d4    
,repeal of the ,independent ,payment    
,advisory ,board ,effective as of the   
enactment of the ,patient ,protection   
and ,affordable ,care ,act 7,public ,law
 #aaa-adh71 sections #cdjc and #ajcbj of
 such ,act 7including the amendments    
made by such sections7 are repealed1 and
 any provision of law amended by such   

sections is hereby restored as if such  
sections had not been enacted into law4
