expand the ,alpine ,lakes ,wilderness in
 the ,state of ,washington1 to designate
 the ,middle ,fork ,snoqualmie ,river   
and ,pratt ,river as wild and scenic    
rivers1 and for other purposes4  #a4    
,short ,title ,this ,act may be cited as
 the ,alpine ,lakes ,wilderness         
,additions and ,pratt and ,middle ,fork 
,snoqualmie ,rivers ,protection ,act4   
#b4 ,expansion of ,alpine ,lakes        
,wilderness  7a7 ,in ,general ,there is 
designated as wilderness and as a       
component of the ,national ,wilderness  
,preservation ,system certain ,federal  
land in the ,mount ,baker-,snoqualmie   
,national ,forest in the ,state of      

,washington comprising approximately    
#bb1agc acres that is within the        
,proposed ,alpine ,lakes ,wilderness    
,additions ,boundary1 as generally      
depicted on the map entitled ,proposed  
,alpine ,lakes ,wilderness ,additions   
and dated ,december #c1 #bjji1 which is 
incorporated in and shall be considered 
to be a part of the ,alpine ,lakes      
,wilderness4  7b7 ,administration  7#a7 
,management ,subject to valid existing  
rights1 the land designated as          
wilderness by subsection 7a7 shall be   
administered by the ,secretary of       
,agriculture 7referred to in this       
section as the ,secretary71 in          
accordance with the ,wilderness ,act    
7#af ,u4,s4,c4 #aaca et seq471 except   
that any reference in that ,act to the  
effective date of that ,act shall be    
considered to be a reference to the date
 of enactment of this ,act4  7#b7 ,map  
and ,description  7,a7 ,in ,general ,as 
soon as practicable after the date of   
enactment of this ,act1 the ,secretary  

shall file a map and a legal description
 of the land designated as wilderness by
 subsection 7a7 with--  7i7 the         
,committee on ,natural ,resources of the
 ,house of ,representatives2 and  7ii7  
the ,committee on ,energy and ,natural  
,resources of the ,senate4  7,b7 ,force 
of ,law ,a map and legal description    
filed under subparagraph 7,a7 shall have
 the same force and effect as if        
included in this ,act1 except that the  
,secretary may correct minor errors in  
the map and legal description4  7,c7    
,public ,availability ,the map and legal
 description filed under subparagraph   
7,a7 shall be filed and made available  
for public inspection in the appropriate
 office of the ,forest ,service4  7c7   
,incorporation of acquired land and     
interests in land ,any land or interests
 in land within the ,proposed ,alpine   
,lakes ,wilderness ,additions ,boundary1
 as generally depicted on the map       
entitled ,proposed ,alpine ,lakes       
,wilderness ,additions and dated        

,december #c1 #bjji1 that is acquired by
 the ,united ,states shall--  7#a7      
become part of the wilderness area2 and 
7#b7 be managed in accordance with      
subsection 7b77#a74  #c4 ,wild and      
,scenic ,river ,designations ,section   
#c7;a7 of the ,wild and ,scenic ,rivers 
,act 7#af ,u4,s4,c4 #abgd7;a77 is       
amended by adding at the end the        
following3  7#bjh7 ,middle ,fork        
,snoqualmie1 ,washington ,the #bg4d-mile
 segment from the headwaters of the     
,middle ,fork ,snoqualmie ,river near   
,la ,bohn ,gap in ,,ne #a_/d sec4 #bj1  
,t4 #bd ,n41 ,r4 #ac ,e41 to the        
northern boundary of sec4 #aa1 ,t4 #bc  
,n41 ,r4 #i ,e41 to be administered by  
the ,secretary of ,agriculture in the   
following classifications3  7,a7 ,the   
approximately #f4d-mile segment from the
 headwaters of the ,middle ,fork        
,snoqualmie ,river near ,la ,bohn ,gap  
in ,,ne #a_/d sec4 #bj1 ,t4 #bd ,n41 ,r4
 #ac ,e41 to the west section line of   
sec4 #c1 ,t4 #bc ,n41 ,r4 #ab ,e41 as a 

wild river4  7,b7 ,the approximately    
#ba-mile segment from the west section  
line of sec4 #c1 ,t4 #bc ,n41 ,r4 #ab   
,e41 to the northern boundary of sec4   
#aa1 ,t4 #bc ,n41 ,r4 #i ,e41 as a      
scenic river4  7#bji7 ,pratt ,river1    
,washington ,the entirety of the ,pratt 
,river in the ,state of ,washington1    
located in the ,mount ,baker-,snoqualmie

by the ,secretary of ,agriculture as a
