other purposes41 do pass with the       
following  ,strike all after the        
enacting clause and insert the          
following3  #a4 ,donor contributions    
,section #hije7;b7 of title #dj1 ,united
 ,states ,code is amended by striking   
paragraph 7#g7 and inserting the        
following3  7#g7 ,donor contributions   
7,a7 ,in general ,except as otherwise   
provided in this paragraph1 the         
,secretary or ,administrator1 as        
applicable1 may permit a sponsor        
described in subsection 7a7 to          
acknowledge donor contributions at the  
commemorative work4  7,b7 ,requirements 
,acknowledgments shall--  7i7 be        
displayed inside a visitor center or    

other ancillary structure associated    
with the commemorative work2 and  7ii7  
conform to applicable ,national ,park   
,service or ,general ,services          
,administration guidelines for donor    
recognition1 as applicable4  7,c7       
,limitations ,acknowledgments shall--   
7i7 be limited to an appropriate        
statement or credit recognizing the     
contribution2  7ii7 be displayed in a   
form approved by the ,secretary or      
,administrator2  7iii7 be displayed for 
a period of time determined by the      
,secretary or ,administrator to be      
appropriate1 commensurate with the level
 of the contribution2  7iv7 be limited  
to short1 discrete1 and unobtrusive     
acknowledgments or credits2 and  7v7 not
 include any advertising slogans or     
company logos4  7,d7 ,submittal of plan 
7i7 ,in general ,prior to the display of
 donor acknowledgments1 the sponsor     
shall submit to the ,secretary or       
,administrator1 as applicable1 for      
approval a plan for displaying the donor

 acknowledgments1 including--  7,i7 the 
sample text and types of acknowledgments
 to be displayed2 and  7,,ii7 the form  
and location of all displays4  7ii7     
,notification and resubmittal ,if the   
,secretary or ,administrator does not   
approve the plan submitted under clause 
7i71 the ,secretary or ,administrator   
shall--  7,i7 not later than #fj days   
after the date on which the plan is     
received1 notify the sponsor of the     
reasons the plan is not approved2 and   
7,,ii7 allow the sponsor to resubmit a  
revised donor acknowledgment plan4  7,e7
 ,cost ,the sponsor shall bear all      
expenses related to the display of donor
 acknowledgments4  7,f7 ,applicability  
,this paragraph shall apply to any      
commemorative work dedicated after      
,january #a1 #bjaj4  4  #b4 ,extension  
of legislative authority for vietnam    
memorial visitor center ,section
