#abgf7;a77 is amended by adding at the  
end the following3  77 ,nashua ,river1  
,massachusetts  7,a7 ,the approximately 
#ai-mile segment of the mainstem of the 
,nashua ,river from the confluence of   
the ,north and ,south ,nashua ,rivers in
 ,lancaster1 ,massachusetts1 north to   
the ,massachusetts_/,new ,hampshire     
,state line1 except the approximately   
#d4h-mile segment of the mainstem of the
 ,nashua ,river from the ,route #aai    
bridge in ,groton1 ,massachusetts1      
downstream to its confluence with the   
,nissitissit ,river in ,pepperell1      
,massachusetts4  7,b7 ,the #aj-mile     
segment of the ,squannacook ,river from 
its headwaters at ,ash ,swamp downstream
 to its confluence with the ,nashua     
,river in ,shirley_/,ayer1              
,massachusetts4  7,c7 ,the #c4e-mile    
segment of the ,nissitissit ,river from 
the ,massachusetts_/,new ,hampshire     

,state line downstream to its confluence
 with the ,nashua ,river in ,pepperell1

report ,section #e7;b7 of the ,wild and 
,scenic ,rivers ,act 7#af ,u4,s4,c4     
#abgf7;b77 is amended by adding at the  
end the following3  77 ,study and report
 ,not later than #c years after the date
 on which funds are made available to   
carry out this paragraph1 the ,secretary
 of the ,interior shall complete the    
study of the ,nashua ,river in          
,massachusetts and ,new ,hampshire1 as  
described in subsection 7a7771 and      
submit a report describing the results  
of that study to the ,committee on      
,natural ,resources of the ,house of    
,representatives and the ,committee on  
,energy and ,natural ,resources of the  
,senate4  4  #d4 ,report requirements   
,the report required under section #c of
 this ,act shall--  7#a7 include a      
discussion of the effect of the         
designation of the area to be studied   
under this ,act under the ,wild and     

,scenic ,rivers ,act on--  7,a7 existing
 commercial and recreational activities1
 such as hunting1 fishing1 trapping1    
recreational shooting1 motor boat use1  
or bridge construction2  7,b7 the       
authorization1 construction1 operation1 
maintenance1 or improvement of energy   
production and transmission             
infrastructure2 and  7,c7 the authority 
of ,state and local governments to      
manage those activities encompassed in  
subparagraphs 7,a7 and 7,b72 and  7#b7  
identify--  7,a7 all authorities that   
will authorize or require the ,secretary
 of the ,interior to influence local    
land use decisions 7such as zoning7 or  
place restrictions on non-,federal land 
if the area studied under this ,act is  
designated under the ,wild and ,scenic  
,rivers ,act2  7,b7 all authorities that
 the ,secretary of the ,interior may use
 to condemn property if the area studied
 under this ,act is designated under the
 ,wild and ,scenic ,rivers ,act2 and    
7,c7 all private property located in the

 area to be studied under this ,act4
