,short title ,this ,act may be cited as 
the ,ashland ,breakwater ,light         
,transfer ,act4  #b4 ,boundary          
adjustment to include lighthouse ,public
 ,law #ia-dbd 7#af ,u4,s4,c4 #dfjw et   
seq47 is amended as follows3  7#a7 ,in  
the first section as follows3  7,a7 ,in 
the matter preceding subsection 7a7--   
7i7 by striking islands and shoreline   
and inserting islands1 shoreline1 and   
light stations2 and  7ii7 by inserting  
historic1 after scenic14  7,b7 ,in      
subsection 7a7--  7i7 by striking the   

area and inserting ,the area2 and  7ii7 
by striking 2 and and inserting a       
period4  7,c7 ,in subsection 7b71 by    
striking the final period4  7,d7 ,by    
inserting after #aihe4 the following3   
7c7 ,ashland harbor breakwater light    
7#a7 ,the ,ashland ,harbor ,breakwater  
,light generally depicted on the map    
titled ,ashland ,harbor ,breakwater     
,light ,addition to ,apostle ,islands   
,national ,lakeshore and dated ,february
 #aa1 #bjad1 located at the end of the  
breakwater on ,chequamegon ,bay1        
,wisconsin4  7#b7 ,congress does not    
intend for the designation of the       
property under paragraph 7#a7 to create 
a protective perimeter or buffer zone   
around the boundary of that property4  4
  7#b7 ,in section #f as follows3  7,a7 
,by striking ,the lakeshore and         
inserting3  7a7 ,in general ,the        
lakeshore  4  7,b7 ,by inserting this   
section and before the provisions of4   
7,c7 ,by adding after subsection 7a7 the
 following3  7b7 ,federal use           

,notwithstanding subsection 7c7 of the  
first section--  7#a7 the ,secretary of 
the department in which the ,coast      
,guard is operating may operate1        
maintain1 keep1 locate1 inspect1 repair1
 and replace any ,federal aid to        
navigation located at the ,ashland      
,harbor ,breakwater ,light for as long  
as such aid is needed for navigational  
purposes2 and  7#b7 in carrying out the 
activities described in paragraph 7#a71 
such ,secretary may enter1 at any time1 
the ,ashland ,harbor ,breakwater ,light 
or any ,federal aid to navigation at the
 ,ashland ,harbor ,breakwater ,light1   
for as long as such aid is needed for   
navigational purposes1 without notice to
 the extent that it is not possible to  
provide advance notice4  7c7            
,clarification of authority ,pursuant to
 existing authorities1 the ,secretary   
may enter into agreements with the ,city
 of ,ashland1 ,county of ,ashland1 and  
,county of ,bayfield1 ,wisconsin1 for   
the purpose of cooperative law          

enforcement and emergency services      
within the boundaries of the lakeshore4
