 into trust for the benefit of the      
,santa ,ynez ,band of ,chumash ,mission 
,indians1 and for other purposes4  #a4  
,short title ,this ,act may be cited as 
the ,santa ,ynez ,band of ,chumash      
,mission ,indians ,land ,transfer ,act  
of #bjac4  #b4 ,transfer of land in     
trust for ,santa ,ynez ,band of ,chumash
 ,mission ,indians  7a7 ,transfer and   
,administration  7#a7 ,transfer of lands
 into trust ,if the ,tribe transfers    
title to the land described in          
subsection 7b7 to the ,united ,states1  
the ,secretary shall take that land into
 trust for the benefit of the ,tribe4   

7#b7 ,administration ,the land          
transferred under paragraph 7#a7 shall  
be part of the ,santa ,ynez ,indian     
,reservation and administered in        
accordance with the laws and regulations
 generally applicable to land held in   
trust by the ,united ,states for an     
,indian tribe4  7#c7 ,effect ,for       
purposes of certain ,california ,state  
laws 7including the ,california ,land   
,conservation ,act of #aife1 ,government
 ,code ,section #eabjj1 et seq471       
placing the land described in subsection
 7b7 into trust shall remove any        
restrictions on the property pursuant to
 ,california ,government ,code ,section 
#eabie or any other provision of such   
,act4  7b7 ,legal description of lands  
transferred ,the lands to be transferred
 pursuant to this ,act are described as

land that is in existence before the    
date of the enactment of this ,act2

,tribe in existence before the date of  
the enactment of this ,act2 or  7#c7    
terminate any right-of-way or           
right-of-use issued1 granted1 or        
permitted before the date of the        
enactment of this ,act4  7d7 ,restricted
 use of transferred lands ,the ,tribe   
may not conduct1 on the land described  
in subsection 7b7 taken into trust for  
the ,tribe pursuant to this ,act1 gaming
 activities-- 7#a7 as a matter of       
claimed inherent authority2 or  7#b7    
under any ,federal law1 including the   
,indian ,gaming ,regulatory ,act 7#be   
,u4,s4,c4 #bgja et seq47 and regulations
 promulgated by the ,secretary or the   
,national ,indian ,gaming ,commission   

under that ,act4  7e7 ,definitions ,for 
the purposes of this section3 7#a7      
,secretary ,the term ,secretary means   
the ,secretary of the ,interior4  7#b7  
,tribe ,the term ,tribe means the ,santa
 ,ynez ,band of ,chumash ,mission       
,indians4
