such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned ,a ,,bill ,to repeal certain provisions of the ,patient ,protection and ,affordable ,care ,act relating to the premium tax credits and cost-sharing subsidies4 #a4 ,short title ,this ,act may be cited as the ,federal ,repeal of ,expensive ,exchanges ,act or the ,,free ,act4 #b4 ,findings ,the ,congress finds the following3 7#a7 ,the ,patient ,protection and ,affordable ,care ,act makes health care more expensive and less accessible1 while also driving up the ,federal deficit and debt4 7#b7 ,this increase in cost is most noticeable in the health insurance exchanges established under such ,act1 which would increase the ,federal deficit by #a4jag trillion over an eleven-year timeframe1 as stated in a ,july1 #bjab ,congressional ,budget ,office report4 7#c7 ,the ,federal mandate to establish health insurance exchanges directly assaults the ,states' traditional authority to regulate health insurance4 7#d7 ,such ,federal mandate imposes unknown insurance costs on consumers and administrative costs on ,states4 7#e7 ,such ,federal mandate imposes a one-size-fits-all approach that ignores ,state differences4 7#f7 ,such ,federal mandate undermines choice and competition and guarantees further consolidation of the health insurance markets4 #c4 ,repeal of the ,patient ,protection and ,affordable ,care ,act premium tax credits and cost-sharing subsidies 7a7 ,premium tax credits ,the ,internal ,revenue ,code of #aihf is amended by striking section #cf;,b4 7b7 ,advance determination and payment of premium tax credits and cost-,sharing reductions ,the ,patient ,protection and ,affordable ,care ,act is amended by striking section #adab4 7c7 ,cost-,sharing ,the ,patient ,protection and ,affordable ,care coverage1 information concerning whether or not the coverage is a qualified health plan offered through an ,exchange established under section #acaa of the ,patient ,protection and ,affordable ,care ,act1 and 2 and 7,c7 ,section #fajc7l77#ba7 of such ,code is amended-- 7i7 by striking any premium tax credit under section #cf;,b or any cost-sharing reduction under section #adjb of the ,patient ,protection and ,affordable ,care ,act or in the matter preceding subparagraph 7i71 7ii7 by striking 7as defined in section #cf;,b7 in subparagraph 7,a77iv71 and 7iii7 by adding at the end the following3 7,d7 ,modified adjusted gross income ,for purposes of this paragraph1 the term modified adjusted gross income means adjusted gross income increased by-- 7i7 any amount excluded from gross income under section #iaa1 7ii7 any amount of interest received or accrued by the taxpayer during the taxable year which is exempt from tax1 and 7iii7 an amount equal to the portion of the taxpayer's
