maxims of men         who turn their

pure everything is pure2 but to the     
polluted and unbelieving         nothing
 is pure1 but on the contrary their very
 minds and         consciences are

know ,god2 but in their actions they    
disown ,him1         and are detestable 
and disobedient men1 and for any good   
work         are utterly useless4       

#jjb3jja ,but as for you1 you must speak
 in a manner that befits                
wholesome teaching4  #jjb3jjb ,exhort   
aged men to be temperate1 grave1        
sober-minded1 robust in         their   
faith1 their love and their patience4   
#jjb3jjc ,in the same way exhort aged   
women to let their conduct be such      
as becomes consecrated persons4  ,they  
must not be slanderers         nor      
enslaved to wine-drinking4 ,they must be
 teachers of         what is right4     
#jjb3jjd ,they should school the young  
women to be affectionate to             
their husbands and to their children1 to
 be sober-minded1         pure in their 
lives1  #jjb3jje industrious in their   
homes1 kind1 submissive to their        
husbands1         so that the ,christian
 teaching may not be exposed to         
reproach4  #jjb3jjf ,in the same way    
exhort the younger men to be discreet1  
#jjb3jjg and above all make your own    
life a pattern of right conduct1        
having in your teaching no taint of     

insincerity1         but a serious tone1

 one can censure1 so that our opponents 
may feel ashamed at having nothing evil

slaves to be always obedient to their   
owners1         and to give them        
satisfaction in everything1 not         
contradicting         and not pilfering1

fidelity and kind feeling1 in order to  
bring         honour to the teaching of

displayed itself with healing power

 renounce ungodliness and all the       
pleasures         of this world1 and to 
live sober1 upright1 and pious lives

various cravings and pleasures1         
spending our lives in malice and envy1  
hateful ourselves         and hating one

goodness of ,god our ,saviour1 and ,his 
love to man1         dawned upon us1 not

 in consequence of things which we1

 as the result of ,his own mercy ,he    
saved us by means of the bath of        
regeneration and the renewal         of 
our natures by the ,holy ,spirit1

 been declared righteous through ,his   
grace         we might become heirs to
