#jjf3jbc ,in the oracle he made two cherubim of olive wood1 each ten cubits high4 #jjf3jbd ,five cubits was the one wing of the cherub1 and five cubits the other wing of the cherub3 from the uttermost part of the one wing to the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits4 #jjf3jbe ,the other cherub was ten cubits3 both the cherubim were of one measure and one form4 #jjf3jbf ,the height of the one cherub was ten cubits1 and so was it of the other cherub4 #jjf3jbg ,he set the cherubim within the inner house2 and the wings of the cherubim were stretched forth1 so that the wing of the one touched the one wall1 and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall2 and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house4 #jjf3jbh ,he overlaid the cherubim with gold4 #jjf3jbi ,he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers1 inside and outside4 #jjf3jcj ,the floor of the house he overlaid with gold1 inside and outside4 temple door posts of olive wood1 out of a fourth part of the wall2 #jjf3jcd and two doors of fir wood3 the two leaves of the one door were folding1 and the two leaves of the other door were folding4 #jjf3jce ,he carved thereon cherubim and palm trees and open flowers2 and he overlaid them with gold fitted on the engraved work4 #jjf3jcf ,he built the inner court with three courses of hewn stone1 and a course of cedar beams4 #jjf3jcg ,in the fourth year was the foundation of the house of ,yahweh laid1 in the month ,ziv4 #jjf3jch ,in the eleventh year1 in the month ,bul1 which is the eighth month1 was the house finished throughout all the parts of it1 and according to all the fashion of it4 ,so was he seven years in building it4 #jjg3jja ,solomon was building his own house thirteen years1 and he finished all his house4 #jjg3jjb ,for he built the house of the forest of ,lebanon2 the length of it was one hundred cubits1 and the breadth of it fifty cubits1 and the height of it porch of the throne where he was to judge1 even the porch of judgment3 and it was covered with cedar from floor to floor4 #jjg3jjh ,his house where he was to dwell1 the other court within the porch1 was of the like work4 ,he made also a house for ,pharaoh's daughter 7whom ,solomon had taken as wife71 like this porch4 #jjg3jji ,all these were of costly stones1 even of hewn stone1 according to measure1 sawed with saws1 inside and outside1 even from the foundation to the coping1 and so on the outside to the great court4 #jjg3jaj ,the foundation was of costly stones1 even great stones1 stones of ten cubits1 and stones of eight cubits4 #jjg3jaa ,above were costly stones1 even hewn stone1 according to measure1 and cedar wood4 #jjg3jab ,the great court round about had three courses of hewn stone1 and a course of cedar beams2 like as the inner court of the house of ,yahweh1 and the porch of the house4 #jjg3jac ,king ,solomon sent and fetched ,hiram out of ,tyre4 #jjg3jad ,he was the son of a widow of the tribe of ,naphtali1 and his father was a man of ,tyre1 a worker in brass2 and he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill1 to work all works in brass4 ,he came to king ,solomon1 and performed all his work4 #jjg3jae ,for he fashioned the two pillars of brass1 eighteen cubits high apiece3 and a line of twelve cubits compassed either of them about4 #jjg3jaf ,he made two capitals of molten brass1 to set on the tops of the pillars3 the height of the one capital was five cubits1 and the height of the other capital was five cubits4 #jjg3jag ,there were nets of checker work1 and wreaths of chain work1 for the capitals which were on the top of the pillars2 seven for the one capital1 and seven for the other capital4 #jjg3jah ,so he made the pillars2 and there were two rows round about on the one network1 to cover the capitals that were on the top of the pillars3 and so did he for the other capital4 #jjg3jai ,the capitals that were on the top of the pillars in the porch were of lily work1 four cubits4 #jjg3jbj ,there were capitals above also on the two pillars1 close by the belly which was beside the network3 and the pomegranates were two hundred1 in rows round about on the other capital4 #jjg3jba ,he set up the pillars at the porch of the temple3 and he set up the right pillar1 and called the name of it ,jachin2 and he set up the left pillar1 and called the name of it ,boaz4 #jjg3jbb ,on the top of the pillars was lily work3 so was the work of the pillars finished4 #jjg3jbc ,he made the molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim1 round in compass1 and the height of it was five cubits2 and a line of thirty cubits compassed it round about4 #jjg3jbd ,under the brim of it round about there were buds which did compass it1 for ten cubits1 compassing the sea round about3 the buds were in two rows1 cast when it was cast4 #jjg3jbe ,it stood on twelve oxen1 three looking toward the north1 and three looking toward the west1 and three looking toward the south1 and three looking toward the east2 and the sea was set on them above1 and all their hinder parts were inward4 #jjg3jbf ,it was a handbreadth thick3 and the brim of it was worked like the brim of a cup1 like the flower of a lily3 it held two thousand baths4 #jjg3jbg ,he made the ten bases of brass2 four cubits was the length of one base1 and four cubits the breadth of it1 and three cubits the height of it4 #jjg3jbh ,the work of the bases was on this manner3 they had panels2 and there were panels between the ledges2 #jjg3jbi and on the panels that were between the ledges were lions1 oxen1 and cherubim2 and on the ledges there was a pedestal above2 and beneath the lions and oxen were wreaths of hanging work4 #jjg3jcj ,every base had four bronze wheels1 and axles of brass2 and the four feet of it had supports3 beneath the basin were the supports molten1 with wreaths at the side of each4 #jjg3jca ,the mouth of it within the capital and above was a cubit3 and the mouth of it was round after the work of a pedestal1 a cubit and a half2 and also on the mouth of it were engravings1 and their panels were foursquare1 not round4 #jjg3jcb ,the four wheels were underneath the panels2 and the axles of the wheels were in the base3 and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit4 #jjg3jcc ,the work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel3 their axles1 and their rims1 and their spokes1 and their naves1 were all molten4 #jjg3jcd ,there were four supports at the four corners of each base3 the supports of it were of the base itself4 #jjg3jce ,in the top of the base was there a round compass half a cubit high2 and on the top of the base the stays of it and the panels of it were of the same4 #jjg3jcf ,on the plates of the stays of it1 and on the panels of it1 he engraved cherubim1 lions1 and palm trees1 according to the space of each1 with wreaths round about4 #jjg3jcg ,after this manner he made the ten bases3 all of them had one casting1 one measure1 and one form4 #jjg3jch ,he made ten basins of brass3 one basin contained forty baths2 and every basin was four cubits2 and on very one of the ten bases one basin4 #jjg3jci ,he set the bases1 five on the right side of the house1 and five on the left side of the house3 and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward1 toward the south4 #jjg3jdj ,hiram made the basins1 and the shovels1 and the basins4 ,so ,hiram made an end of doing all the work that he worked for king ,solomon in the house of ,yahweh3 #jjg3jda the two pillars1 and the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars2 and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars2 #jjg3jdb and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks2 two rows of pomegranates for each network1 to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the pillars2 #jjg3jdc and the ten bases1 and the ten basins on the bases2 #jjg3jdd and the one sea1 and the twelve oxen under the sea2 #jjg3jde and the pots1 and the shovels1 and the basins3 even all these vessels1 which ,hiram made for king ,solomon1 in the house of ,yahweh1 were of burnished brass4 #jjg3jdf ,in the plain of the ,jordan did the king cast them1 in the clay ground between ,succoth and ,zarethan4 #jjg3jdg ,solomon left all the vessels unweighed1 because they were exceeding many3 the weight of the brass could not be found out4 #jjg3jdh ,solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of ,yahweh3 the golden altar1 and the table whereupon the show bread was1 of gold2 #jjg3jdi and the lampstands1 five on the right side1 and five on the left1 before the oracle1 of pure gold2 and the flowers1 and the lamps1 and the tongs1 of gold2 #jjg3jej and the cups1 and the snuffers1 and the basins1 and the spoons1 and the fire pans1 of pure gold2 and the hinges1 both for the doors of the inner house1 the most holy place1 and for the doors of the house1 to wit1 of the temple1 of gold4 #jjg3jea ,thus all the work that king ,solomon worked in the house of ,yahweh was finished4 ,solomon brought in the things which ,david his father had dedicated1 even the silver1 and the gold1 and the vessels1 and put them in the treasuries of the house of ,yahweh4 #jjh3jja ,then ,solomon assembled the elders of ,israel1 and all the heads of the tribes1 the princes of the fathers' houses of the children of ,israel1 to king ,solomon in ,jerusalem1 to bring up the ark of the covenant of ,yahweh out of the city of ,david1 which is ,zion4 #jjh3jjb ,all the men of ,israel assembled themselves to king ,solomon at the feast1 in the month ,ethanim1 which is the seventh month4 #jjh3jjc ,all the elders of ,israel came1 and the priests took up the ark4 #jjh3jjd ,they brought up the ark of ,yahweh1 and the tent of meeting1 and all the holy vessels that were in the ,tent2 even these did the priests and the ,levites bring up4 #jjh3jje ,king ,solomon and all the congregation of ,israel1 who were assembled to him1 were with him before the ark1 sacrificing sheep and oxen1 that could not be counted nor numbered for multitude4 #jjh3jjf ,the priests brought in the ark of the brought forth my people ,israel out of ,egypt1 ,i chose no city out of all the tribes of ,israel to build a house1 that my name might be there2 but ,i chose ,david to be over my people ,israel4 horse with horsemen4 #jbj3jba ,the king of ,israel went out1 and struck the horses and chariots1 and killed the ,syrians with a great slaughter4 #jbj3jbb ,the prophet came near to the king of ,israel1 and said to him1 ,go1 strengthen yourself1 and mark1 and see what you do2 for at the return of the year the king of ,syria will come up against you4 #jbj3jbc ,the servants of the king of ,syria said to him1 ,their god is a god of the hills2 therefore they were stronger than we3 but let us fight against them in the plain1 and surely we shall be stronger than they4 #jbj3jbd ,do this thing3 take the and went up to ,aphek1 to fight against ,israel4 #jbj3jbg ,the children of ,israel were mustered1 and were provisioned1 and went against them3 and the children of ,israel encamped before them like two little flocks of kids2 but the ,syrians filled the country4 #jbj3jbh ,a man of ,god came near and spoke to the king of ,israel1 and said1 ,thus says ,yahweh1 ,because the ,syrians have said1 ,yahweh is a god of the hills1 but he is not a god of the valleys2 therefore will ,i deliver all this great multitude into your hand1 and you shall know that ,i am ,yahweh4 #jbj3jbi ,they encamped one over against the other seven days4 ,so it was1 that in the seventh day the battle was joined2 and the children of ,israel killed of the ,syrians one hundred thousand footmen in one day4 #jbj3jcj ,but the about four hundred men1 and said to them1 ,shall ,i go against ,ramoth ,gilead to battle1 or shall ,i forbear8 ,they said1 ,go up2 for the ,lord will deliver it into the hand of the king4 #jbb3jjg
